Safety is how we run work
Steel erection is unforgiving of shortcuts, so we do not take them. Here is how safety actually works on a Metro Erectors site, in the terms GCs prequalify on.
Daily safety briefings
Crews start every workday with a safety meeting before deploying to the site, led by the site supervisor: the day's picks, hazards, weather, and access, reviewed before anyone hooks a load.
A dedicated safety committee
Safety at Metro Erectors has owners. Our safety committee reviews field practices and near-misses, and keeps procedures current instead of letting the manual gather dust.
Trained, certified crews
Our ironworkers and riggers maintain safety training and certifications in compliance with federal, state, and city requirements, current and documented.
Every pick planned
Crane placement, load paths, and pick sequence are engineered before mobilization. Improvised lifts are how steel work goes wrong. We do not improvise lifts.

Prequalifying us? Ask for the paperwork.
We are used to GC prequalification and happy to provide current insurance certificates, training records, and safety documentation with your bid package. Request them through the contact page and they arrive with the proposal, not after it.
